Ohhhh Behappy4ever, that was the first thing on my mind to hide them, however it must have been a neighbor that reported me. I am in the process of planting a forest of Moringa trees they grow very fast here and are very very useful trees (if any one is interested check out miracletrees dot...
Just my experience and opinion:
Please do not buy this oil for the purpose it is needed at Wholefoods or Sprouts. They are not pure enough. We need the purest when dealing with brain issues. Not sure what quality level of oils religious stores have if they even have the oil. They will more...
Since I will need to face it that my girls need a home/temporary home I need to ask who might be interested in providing my girls and new home/temporary home. I have 2 x 5-6 month young Red Sex Link big girls, they are larger than all of them. 2 x 4 month Araucana (darn spelling they will lay...
Elizabeth van Buren in California, there is a certain amount you have to order for the fist order but since Frankincence is expensive that could already cover the minimum. The next two are oils from MLM companies and the opinions on them vary. Young Living and doTerra. I personally use doTerra...
Yes I have to give all of them up. Gilbert discriminates based on lots sized districts. Even though my lot is almost 12000 sq ft large I am in a SF-6 district and only in SF-8 (meaning lot sizes are 8000 sq ft) or higher is one aloud to have chickens or as they word it fowl.
A couple of weeks ago I posted here in this thread my dilemma about receiving a letter from a Gilbert zoning inspector that I need to get rid of my fowl (chickens and ducks). I was hoping to connect with Gilbert chicken-lovers that could possibly help out in this situation or may have...
Demosthine, sorry to read about what happened. For the mom I would recommend the Rescue Bach Flower remedy. Being a Reflexologist myself I would highly recommend working on the boys feet it is very healing and grounding. Research Frankincence essential oil, although very expensive, it goes...
Congrats Parentwarrior, I have that kind of reaction from my duck. Ohhhh does she make me feel guilty when I take her egg away. I try to take it now when she is occupied eating right after I put food out :) It helps.
I throw straw in that should actually help with the smell (hay might have to much nitrogen in it that can cause the rotting smell) since the poop wont just sit on top of the hard clay. Please do not use the Miracle grow bags, they are to toxic. When you do deep straw it actually helps the soil...
Oh yes, the wild birds love it here already. They know where to get food. Just this morning I was thinking how beautiful it was that this neighbor can't shut the wild bird off from singing their sing in the wee morning hours. Once I have the trees big and strong and, yes, add feeders then my...
Hi Parentwarrier,
yes you are aloud to have chickens even if you are in a subdivision. If your HOA has no clause stating chickens are forbidden in your subdivision the you are good to go. You have the right to raise up to 25 fowl. Good for you, way to go :)

Serama Rooster,
yes I have muscovy ducks, love them. But the one Mallard lets you know when she is hungry, still nothing compared to dogs barking. And yes the rooster was amongst what I hoped to all be hens and he will go. But I will fight for my chickens and muscovies. Will keep plan B on hand...
Hi pollyg,
I have to disagree with the statement Gilbert HOA's do not allow chickens. Mine has no clause in it relating to chickens and therefor that is not a problem from an HOA point of view. Do you already have your next home in Gilbert lined up or still looking? I have learned one has to...
