Arizona Chickens

A couple of weeks ago I posted here in this thread my dilemma about receiving a letter from a Gilbert zoning inspector that I need to get rid of my fowl (chickens and ducks). I was hoping to connect with Gilbert chicken-lovers that could possibly help out in this situation or may have information/connections or anything that could help. Unfortunately time is running out so I would like to ask again. Would anyone possibly know if anyone of the town-counsel or even the mayor might be a chicken lover that I could contact and state my case? I went to Town Hall yesterday and received no answers to my questions. Tuesday the inspector will come out to inspect my property, I like to know if I can refuse him to enter my back yard. Please if anyone can help me please PM me or respond on the board. I don't want to loose my girls.

After additional tests, the found part of the problem through the results of an MRI with contrast.  The lobe in the back of the brain is retaining large amounts of water.  She didn't remember which lobe, but I think she's referring to the parietal lobe.  It has a large affect on sleeping and vise-versa.  They currently have no treatment methods for it and said he could remain in this condition for the rest of his life.

He is not on a ventilator or anything.  He blew out his IV today, so they are having a bit more difficulties there, too.  They were going to work on inserting a feeding tube today, but I haven't heard how that went yet.

I am looking in to the homepathic and naturopathic remedies tonight.  I am a firmly believer in those.  The two things I need his Mom to stress with the Doctors is that he needs good amounts of natural, unfiltered sunlight and to be grounded to the Earth.  Direct contact with the Earth has major healing effects.  I'll definitely update as we know more.

As always, prayers are greatly appreciated and needed.  He is such a sweet young man!
We are praying for all involved..
8 is so young, bless his heart..

Shoot I wish I knew someone.. There is always a loop hole.. Do you have to get rid of all of them?

That's a good idea about the Reflexology. I always forget about that for some reason. I've never heard of using the Frankincence, though. I'll look in to that now. I'd definitely like to know the companies with the high quality oils, though. I would say it's ok to post here, because you aren't advertising for the company and have no compensation. I think they're looking to keep the actual companies out of the Forums, not friendly recommendations on something that has nothing to do with chickens.

We appreciate the good wishes from everyone!

Yes I have to give all of them up. Gilbert discriminates based on lots sized districts. Even though my lot is almost 12000 sq ft large I am in a SF-6 district and only in SF-8 (meaning lot sizes are 8000 sq ft) or higher is one aloud to have chickens or as they word it fowl.

Never seen that many girls in the nest boxes. I always find the eggs in the top left one every day.

Wilma, my EE, laid her first egg yesterday while I was at work. Caught her today though.
She is 20 weeks old. I am waiting on one more girl to lay.

Chris, you are the picture perfect Mama Hen. You have some of the luckiest girls around. If my wife turns in to half the caregiver you are, I'll be lucky.

You have some beautiful girls and the setup is awesome. Keep the pics coming!

Elizabeth van Buren in California, there is a certain amount you have to order for the fist order but since Frankincence is expensive that could already cover the minimum. The next two are oils from MLM companies and the opinions on them vary. Young Living and doTerra. I personally use doTerra and Elizabeth van Buren in my practice. I order fairly regular and I could order some for you if needed. (Sorry I haven't sent the Moringa Tree seeds out I was running around trying to get info for my chicken/zoning problem) There is one more thing you might want to check into. It has healed thousands of people from various diseases, including malaria, cancer, HIV/Aids, Autism, and more. Check out MMS (Master Mineral Solution) Jim Humble healed himself from malaria with it and since then has helped people all around the world. The FDA wants to shut MMS distributers down since for only $25 for a 3 months supply people have been healed/cured from ailments and the big pharma-industry can't make big bucks on it and could loose out if this spreads out around the world. Check out www.genesis2forum.org and read some testimonies. Oh yes, another site is www.michaelharrah.us to keep things local he is from Chandler and has lots of good info about MMS there.
Best wishes,

Since I will need to face it that my girls need a home/temporary home I need to ask who might be interested in providing my girls and new home/temporary home. I have 2 x 5-6 month young Red Sex Link big girls, they are larger than all of them. 2 x 4 month Araucana (darn spelling they will lay the green eggs) the other three are my oldest ones and were from my first set when I really didn't know much about chickens nor that there where so many breeds. Two are white, one has a couple of blackish spots on them. The third one must also be Araucana she lays green eggs. These older three one were bullied by one hen that passed this summer from the heat (never again will I get baby chicks in the fall, they just have a hard time with the summer heat) and a rooster I once had. Anyway these three girls still look rather scrawny feathered and I guess it takes a while for new growth to come in, I don't know.

Oh I am just crying as I write this, my chickens are like therapy for me. A reason to get up in the early morning hours and start the day off in a wonderful way. They have helped me cope with hard times I faced and I felt so blessed with each egg they gifted me. I am so sad. :(

I wish I had an answer for you but unfortunately I don't. I'd be devastated if I had to loose my girls too. Wishing you the best of luck
