    Diesel really? That won't burn? I've had diesel on my legs for a few hours and it gave me a kind of burn. So just dip them in that every couple days? I'm worried the Vaseline won't be good with things getting stuck to her ect Thanks heaps for your help

    Can anyone help me with these legs. They have been like this since my little bantam went broody. Today she has had one up but I can't see anything wrong with it. Also are the bubbles in the eye normal. It's sometimes weepy. [/IMG]

    Thanks people. It's crazy not being able to identify such a common bird. They are just everywhere. I've been looking up brown quail and it seems to match..mostly. Maybe I'll have to wait till they get bigger, if they get bigger. I have a bird book at home on Australian birds so I'll have a look...

    Just googled it and no I've have coturnix before and this one is much much smaller. More like the button quail size. :( I'm thinking just a brown quail. But can't confirm it.

    I caught this bird tonight in the paddock in the west australian wheat belt area. I've had quails before and it does look like one. But would like confirmation. Thanks in advance.
