EE Chicks and Muscovy Ducks together in brooder?

I am about to order chicks, and thought a few ducks might be fun we have a pond that they can live out their lives in. Can the chicks and ducks be in the brooder together? I have never had ducks before and thought why not. Thanks for any info!!!!

    Country Hatchery in Weeoka, OK

We have purchased from them before and so has our neighbors. They are about a hour away so I don't have to pay shipping. They were really good chicks I think out of 150 we only lost about 10.

Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

I am intrested in purchasing some Ameraucanas. How do I know that they are true Ameraucanas? Breed standard only? I don't want Easter Eggers or any other mutts. Do chickens come registered or have pedigrees like dogs? This is a new area for me, I just want to make sure I get what I pay for. I am...

Bantam Flock - 5 cochin hens, 1 cochin roo, 1 quail d'anver hen Oklahoma City

If you wanted to pay for shipping I would look into it, I honestly don't think it would be cost effective. This Roo used to be friendly and sometimes still is but he is young and has a haram of six so he is rather self confident. My first Cochin Roo, Henry was like a dog so I know they have it...

    Moving Chicks Outside, Need Advice

The weather has been beautiful during the day and my 7 bantam chicks are going on 4-5 weeks old. I have decided its time to put them outside at least in the day time in the coop. I bought one of those coops from Tractor Supply, and I am concerned about the small wire floor for the chicks. Should...

What other foods do chickens like to scratch up?

I am trying to think of something else that I can scatter about for the chickens to scratch at as they free range instead of scratch. They get treats every evening when it's time to get locked up and it is getting to warm to feed scratch because of the corn. Anyone have any ideas for me?
