    we have 3 turkey hens they are 6 months old and appear to be all white...they just look awful straggly...there feathers just look so ugly i do not see any worms anywhere what can i do or feed them to help them look better, they stay with the chickens and free range when we are home

    Question about hatching in an automatic turner

    i did not know my husband had put eggs in bator and i never checked on them or turned the turner off...never even filled with water and guess what...i had the best hatch in months...so i am just not sure what to do...i think i will try using an egg carton and hand turning next time...

    well to make a long story short...i have 32 guinea eggs in bator still have 9 days to go...i did not know my husband had put 6 chicken eggs in bator,20 days ago, and with the luck i have had with shipped eggs i have just really not cared and let him do the work...when i would check water there...

    i am going to use bator without turner this time and i am going to do the same, just put my hand on each and roll...actually i may even take some paper towels and make a nest like area in my bator....

    Chick cannot get up...

    i also had a BO born on tues... he did not stand until this morning..i actually thought he was gonna die, but when i checked on him this mornig he was walking all over the place....

    drying time

    i have had 3 BO hatched yesterday, they are still not anywhere near being dry and fluffy...i had one hatch on day 19 and i moved it to brooder after 27 hours in bator, it is dry but still has some wet looking feathers, there dry they just look wet... anyways just wndering if maybe my humidity is...
