    Well I have 9 birds in my coop, and most of them are the egg laying age. However, I got my first egg yesterday and my second one today. EXCITED!!!! I expected it was my "Big Momma" because she is about 8 weeks older then the rest of my girls.

    coping with the heat

    I am pretty new to the game myself. However, I have found as long as the coop has ample ventilation and the birds are provided with unlimited water they will be fine. They will usually hide out in the shade during the day. So that would be good as well. So I guess they need 3 things...water...

    Feeder not dispersing...HELP!!!

    lol...well it started out at 60 degrees, but with the weight it has collapsed to about probably 40 degrees. I have placed a 2x4 below the elbow to help it from collapsing again.
