He makes noise but its never really been a quack, more of a honk. I noticed today his tail feathers have a green tinge to them. Here's a pic of the feathers above his speculum feathers
How come Wire is getting more green colouring though? I thought only the males got the green head? That picture is from Jan 1 and he has gotten more green since then.

Also, I have posted the video to Facebook and had a fair few comments saying that Wire is female! I am certain he is male, he acts male and even has the green tinge to his head. What do you think?
