The risk of leaving it as-is, is that it can rupture and well...everything falls out & they suffer a presumably horrific death. As the skin looks "angry" we dont have much time. We're thinking surgery given her age (1) and their long lifespan.
Vet came out an wasn't sure what it was. Need a needle draw and nothing came out. So today I'm taking her to their clinic for an ultrasound so they can hopefully figure out what it is. She laid another egg this morning...no reduction in the size. It doesn't appear to be growing which is good.
Bump didn't go down at all. It's body temperature, soft and felt like it's full of liquid. Found a vet that's coming to check her out today. Thanks for the advice!
