Just curious, but would anyone be interested in buying fertile eggs from me, or maybe chicks if I can get an incubator? I have a pair of buff leghorn bantams but I'm not a breeder.. I didn't even know what kind of chicken they were when I bought them (and neither did the guy I bought them from...
Okay I might just do that! The guy I got them from said he bought them at a flea market in Newport.. So maybe there would be others there as well! I want to buy more of them, but they're just so hard to find! Can you breed the offspring back to the parents? Like daughter/father or mother/son...
Oh alright sounds good! I want to hatch some chicks, but I'm really new to the whole chicken thing. (These are my first two, ever.) I've been reading a lot on here though and there's a lot of helpful information.
I just bought them because I wanted a few bantams as pets mainly and I thought they were pretty.. And then I did my research lol i thought if they were actually rare they would've been more than 10 dollars each. :P so i thought he was just talking, but we'll see!
So I bought this pair recently and I was told they were Buff Leghorns... But when I researched the breed I found that they were pretty rare. So just to make sure I wanted to post this here... So what do you think? Are they really?
