Chickens in our fenced garden jump up for the kale stalks still growing. I think the chicken pruning encourages the kale to grow stronger and taller. It’s an entertaining event for my grand baby. Otherwise some days my chickens get cooked white or any kind of rice and oatmeal, Cheerios, cut ends...
Thank you for the poop article. It was very helpful, but my chicken has poop with no white; green and liquid; no worms, hardly any solid to it. I am giving them nothing but layer feed and a few black sunflower seeds as snacks. They have not eaten the pellets for two days now.

Chickens are not feasting on the layer pellets alone; no runny poop seen today; cleans out entire pen; put sand in plant container and Beside it for bathing, adding a bit of diatomaceous earth; washed out water container; threw a few black sunflower seeds in the run.

They also get some cantaloupe and seeds, watermelon, celery...
I wonder if they can eat raw kale and arugula. I have so much. But my lawn is full of that awful buttercup which I’m digging up yard by yard.
You wrote a very nice article, Thanks! Have a blessed day.

When I went to put my three chicks to bed, I heard no peeps anywhere even after calling them. After cleaning everything for them today I was devastated that maybe the latch wasn’t fastened on the gate and they got out. My husband got the flashlight and we looked inside the coop...there they...
