    They are called Eggies. You crack the egg into them and hard boil them without the shell. They are fine if you are going to make a bunch of hard boiled eggs, but I don't use them for just a few.     I bought two SLW that were supposed to be females. One of them had uneven lacing on the back feathers like yours and the other was beautifully laced.
