    One of my hens has a bulge under her vent. It has been getting bigger by the day but does not seem to bother her. Is it unlaid eggs? Or something else? Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

    My chicken has a bulge below her vent. Thought it could be unlaid eggs but not really sure. Soft and squishy to the touch. Does not seem to bother her but is getting bigger by the day. Any suggestions? I tried to load a picture but for some reason it did not work.

    She doing ok in the morning but I found more maggots on her and in the process of trying to get them off she died. :( It was pretty horrible. Thank you for all your help and suggestions. Fingers crossed my other chickens stay maggot free.
