Yeah its for keeping out daytime predators the flock are locked up at night. Im planning on using it for dividing a winter food plot for rotational grazing oats and clover. They make energizers special for poultry cuz their legs dont ground well.
Sorry no pics but i have a few 3 week old bantams from a straight run from cackle hatchery that i am curious about the breed. They have yellow heads with a brown stripe down the back and the wings and tail feathers are colored brown like a quail pattern. Any ideas? thanks

I am using a winter food plot mix containing ryegrass, oats, peas, and clover in my garden area this fall and winter for my RIR's and was wondering if it was safe to use a regular fertilizer such as 10-10-10 or triple 13 when planting? Thanks
I have a chicken tractor with coop attatched that i moved my 15 RIR into at 4weeks old. I put food and water into the coop and had to put in a light to get them to go inside at night. Now they are 9 weeks old and go inside and roost before i turn the light on. Do i still need the light and food...
