    We have two 4 or 5 week old chicks. Have recently changed their bedding with untreated saw dust and divided the crate in to two segments. We have our new chicks in one side and the two older ones on the other side. Now both the older ones are lethagic and off colour. Nothing else has changed...

    Why hatching on different days when all put in the incubator at once?

    Hi there. Can anyone tell me why our chicks are hatching on different days. We had one hatch on day 21, then two on day 22 and one on day 23. We put 18 eggs in at once and only 4 have hatched. Thanks in advance.
