Re: clipping wings. some birds seem to be affected more by the trimming of 1 wing to throw them off balance and some need both wings done to eliminate all lift.
I've seen people haul them in a full size P/u with one end near the cab of the truck and the other end near the tail gate with said gate closed and panels sticking up in a rainbow or hoop coop manner. then tie the panels down from the top.
Rough service bulbs should probably not be used around Chickens because they usually have a rubberized coating that can off gas toxins to the sensitive birds.
We also keep our ducks and geese in with our chickens at night during the summer. They have a seperate yard fenced in for them with a pool. Winter time we keep them all together all the time. Don't put any special water out for the waterfowl to have, just a large 5 gallon waterer for everyone on...
