We used to have mice and maybe a rat. We tried many different things to solve the problem. Finally we got 2 kittens and they are fantastic mousers!. They are now 2 years old and the only mice we see now are dead ones!

Use starter feed for 4 1/2 months, then mix it with layer feed (50/50) for 1 month. After a month just use layer feed and oyster shell. Don't use eggshells, because if an egg breaks and they peck at it- you will have an egg eater.

We have raised sheep for 30 years and never had one drown in the rain. They do like to get into shelter during a downpour so if they have access to shelter, they will take care of themselves and their lambs.

Take her off the layer feed and put 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar in her water. Make sure she has some grit. Try some fresh veggies or fruit. My hens love apples, I cut them in half and they peck at them.
