    Golden pheasants

They are a great beginner phesant. Thay are no as wild and flighty as ringnecks. They will become quite tame. I always gave mine some shelter. clipping chicks wings

Does anyone clip the wing feathers of their chicks after they are a few weeks old. Mine seem to do better if they don't have to drag those heavy wings around. They grow back out and arre soon moulted anyway. But it does seem to help the chicks.

Another broody hen question from a another beginner lol!

Lots of times a hen will continue to set. Just be sure not to leave the chicks any longer than to dry off. before last egg hatches start replacing chicks with new eggs. I've had hens do this for up to three times before I finally made them quit!

    Goose Keeping?

I had some when we lived in the country. DW made me get rid of them because they liked to sit on the carport. If you can keep them out of the yard they are a lot of fun to mess with. I really liked the crosses, but not the chinnese. Go for it they will be sure to keep you entertained.

Should I get a duck or two? How can I make this as easy as possible?

I would say maybe runner ducks. They aren't real bad to sit around and quack, they like water but can get by drinking out of a container. and lay fairly well seasonally, and are fun and funny!
