Hello Everyone! I am in the Dallas area and raised a male peacock from a hatchling. He is now 2 1/2 months and very friendly. Sadly, I cannot keep him forever where I live. I frequently drive from Texas to Missouri and go through Oklahoma. If you were looking to adopt him, I could potentially drop him off. I wouldn’t want to part with him without knowing that he is going to a good home, as I am sure that you can understand:) -

Peafowl Living Outside
This looks like a perfect situation to me but I am not experienced. Just like you, I am raising a lone peachick that I have become very attached to. Sadly, I don’t have a place as well suited to keep them and will have to find him a new home. I hope you get to keep yours. They are wonderful. -

Those are all very good points. The enclosure is brand new — I got it from Amazon and debating whether I should assemble it now. There would be no other bird with it, but I fear snakes, and maybe even mosquitoes. I am now considering assembling a structure inside my garage. Just hope it wouldn’t...
