I have 7 in lockdown. I think only 3 were viable at day 18 though. This is my first time hatching. Today is day 22 and no pips. I am trying to be patient. We had some temp spikes though which is why I think we had quitters but I will wait a few more days.
I am on day 20 with 8 eggs in my homemade incubator. My question for you is did the egg that hatched show any signs of movement before it began hatching and how long did it take? I know that others have said to wait until day 25-26 before giving up hope. Good luck and I hope your little one...
I'm new at this as well but my research says to turn them and odd number of times a day. 3 or 5 Condensation sound like the humidity might be too high for the first 18 days. Shouldn't be more than 50% and increased at the end only. I would go lower on humidity than higher for the first 18...

I am new to this incubation thing. I am doing it with my daughter as a homeschool project. We made our incubator out of a styrofoam cooler and it just spiked to 104 hopefully for less than an hour. Do I need to start over? I just set the eggs this afternoon.
