    They are gentle non aggresive birds that are very vocal, and Frank struts all day everyday for Eleanor (although she completely ignores him!) Eleanor is a bit bossy over the White Leghorn hens, hopefully we will have baby turkeys in the spring!

    What ever you do, don't use Great Stuff to seal. What a mess that makes! And the birds like to peck at it :-)

    This is my biggest fear! I have spent unbelievable amounts of time trying to secure the coop and runs here to prevent an attack but the thought of finding any of my flock hurt or dead is a constant worry!

I had an injured chicken and brought her up to the house and made her a pen (we called it sick bay!) so we could keep an eye on her.. needless to say, as soon as the dog saw her he completely freaked out.
