    I think it is, he is doing it to most of the girls in the flock especially my sussex. He has even done his little dance to me! I'm unsure if I should keep him as he is terrorising the girls. so, is there any way I can stop him? or will this occur until he gets to old to care (like my husband! )

    I like this idea. Band aids aren't working. I thought of elastics to start with but my husband said 'you cant do that, you will cut off the blood supply!' I'm glad someone agrees with my idea, thanks!

    My own stupidity on the matter.

    I am very stupid at times. My top coop always gets flooded. So I put in a basic drainage system. I move all the girls down garden to the bigger coop until the water has drained from the top. Bottom coop never gets flooded. I have NEVER even thought of sand. Where I live in the UK we suffer...
