Questions on the basics of turkey care. We just got these little ones today. Not sure what breed would love to know. We currently have them in with black copper maran chicks.

Wow this project seems right up my alley. I have chickens but i am building a 12x12 pen for quail in the coming week. I am researching all i can before then! Thank you for info you all post! I havent selected my breeding stock if someone wouldnt mind letting me know more about that standard

Thank you marquisella. My next question is with the current birds i have would i be able to get to standard? I just found out one of my chicks is a roos as well lol.

My old hound dog baily tried to pick up a chick in his mouth. He is 13 and never been around chickens before. He is part pointer so i guess its natural. My dane dont mind the birds. But my other 5 working german shepherds have too much of a prey drive so i have to be careful

I can't tell a difference. If only a day or two of sitting in a nest box.

Cesar and brutis. My foundation black copper marans. Please critic. Cesar is darker of the two and is only 8 months old his color is coming through. Brutis is 10 months old And lighter of the two. Let me know what you think

Two of my foundation roos. I am very new to bcm but would like to breed to standard. The darker bird is 8 months old. The lighter bird is 10-12months old. Any critic would be of value. My hens are still very young more pics to come
