    That's awesome that you're trying to tan w/o chemicals. I've read that they're very harmful. I think the solution would be to not kill the rabbit in the first place. :)

    Yes! Genius! I am allowed to have roosters where I live. When I get them I'm going to bring my roommates and neighbors with me to the sanctuary, like a field-trip! I want everyone to learn about how animals are treated on factory farms, so hopefully they'll only eat my hens' eggs and not buy...

    I hope you catch anyone who might be harming your chickens! Don't hurt whoever you catch, though! I often catch rats in my traps and drive about 10 miles to let them go in the woods somewhere.

    Poor things. But I guess the wild animals need food too. I would recommend (as many have before me) to utilize hardware cloth. :)

    Yes, sorry, by "compost" I mean food scraps. I know I can give them my stale bread, grains, etc. But was curious what to ensure they do not have access to so I can let all my neighbors know (who want to feed them) what they CANNOT eat. :)
