    Does anyone know what this is on my roo's skin? If so how do I treat this. I have tried to post a photo with no success. At the base of each feather is a red spot. He looks like he has the measles. I did see some white stuff mated in his feathers

    I have 5 golden comets hens, I get eggs every day even in the winter (at least 2-4). I would like to get a rooster,should I try to find a golden comet rooster or could you recommend a different breed that would compliment my flock?

    Wow that was a huge help! I don't know how old she is because a friend of mine bought her at a chicken sale. I know now that is NOT the place to get chickens.     The mister i bought at TSC is 6ft for $9.95 and it uses very little water. I barely turn the hose on, the mist is very fine.

    How about one of those small personal fan? You could clamp it to something inside the coop to blow on them from a distance. The fans can be found at TSC
