sick chicks
i have chicks that are 7 weeks old, i had one that begin to show signs of illness by flopping to one side unable to walk properly, very weak, i removed it to a segregated pen and gave it antibiotics in the water however it did not improve and eventually died:( i now have a second chick that is...- yv3tt3

I purchased 7 Orpington chick last week and am keeping them in a tote inside for the first couple of weeks, i lined the bottom with shavings, they are scratching and throwing the shavings into their water and feed, how can i prevent this? i do not lining the bottom with paper due to it getting...- yv3tt3

I just got some Orpington chicks from the Swap Meet at Tractor Supply, there are lavenders and the others are black? or laced? or what? they said black but look like a cross between buff and black to me?- yv3tt3
