sick chicks
i have chicks that are 7 weeks old, i had one that begin to show signs of illness by flopping to one side unable to walk properly, very weak, i removed it to a segregated pen and gave it antibiotics in the water however it did not improve and eventually died:( i now have a second chick that is...- yv3tt3

I purchased 7 Orpington chick last week and am keeping them in a tote inside for the first couple of weeks, i lined the bottom with shavings, they are scratching and throwing the shavings into their water and feed, how can i prevent this? i do not lining the bottom with paper due to it getting...- yv3tt3

I lost one of my laying hens today, it appeared that she possible had a broken back could not get on her feet at all every once in awhile i will have one that jumps over the fence and roams around perhaps it was hit by a car i just dont know:(- yv3tt3
