I'll go with the 12 on 12 off, though these guys aren't quite as piggy as Cornish broilers. I have just been wondering if ive been over feeding them.

I'm raising 50 Moyer red imperial, and wondering about feeding. do you just free feed the whole time, limit feed after a certain age, or what? also what percent do you feed? having trouble finding the info online.

I couldn't remember if I posted on here in the past, but I'm in Georgetown, SC and have speckled sussexes that should be laying soon, and just built a tractor for some red broilers. wondering if anyone locally may have a plucker I could rent?

I'm looking to do some meat birds, and want to rent a plucked for the first round. I'm in Georgetown SC. I'll pay a deposit or whatever you want. if you know of any businesses that rent, id appreciate any info as well.

I'm thinking 100 birds a day, I did see the yard bird wheels are tiny. I just got a 10% off at tractor supply in the mail today so I may try my luck there.

I'm trying to decide on a plucked, and I think I want the yard bird. For about the same price, is there another plucker you guys would recommend? I'd like it to be somewhat mobile to make easier to move it to friends houses and around the farm.

That's one thing I hadn't considered. with them not roosting, they may sleep up against the wire.

My layers have 2x4 and have never had any issues besides the occasional snake. never any digging issues. probably won't have many if any roosts being for meat birds. I'm mostly wondering if 3 week old freedom rangers will squeeze through 2x4

I am planning on making some hoop house meat tractors to grow out some ranger meat birds in my side yard/pasture. I see a lot of chicken wire used on these over the cattle panel, but I have a bunch of 2x4 wire left from other projects. is the opening on that going to be too big for birds old...
