I'm actually feeling so much better now, and thank you!
The pets are doing wonderful, though I'm nervous about the chickens because I spotted a weasel this afternoon. But they should be fine, their pen is quite secure.

Most are alright! We're caring for a hurt baby rabbit right now and I also got 2 new chickens! A spitzhauben and a black/lavender orpington. :-D How are yours?

They're great! It rained all day, and the chickens have been cooped up all day- poor things!

I'm sorry I didn't reply! Well, I have only had one Aussie. She laid through her first winter, but hasn't laid this winter because of everything that's happened. I'm sure they're good winter layers

Do you have Leghorns? They're not good winter layers. My best winter layers are my Production Reds, New Hampshire Reds, Isa Browns, and my Easter Eggers.
