    Yeah, Michigan BYC members, and they can bring a guest (spouse, kids). Bring a dish to pass. I went last summer, had a good time. It was great to meet people I've chatted with online.

    I have had some really sad, lonely times in my life, in my teens/early 20s. Therapy helped, an anti-depressant helped. But some days it was just putting one foot in front of the other, to get through. I would NOT go through those experiences for any amount of money, but I did learn a lot about myself, and life in general.

    Egyptian Walking Onions! I have heard of them, but never understood anything about them. Thank you so much for posting about them, with pictures, to the garden thread! I would be happy to get some from you if you would be so kind. Do I need to send you something for the postage, or in exchange? I understand I won't get the onions until end of summer.

    Nope, I'll just need your mailing address. I like to share. Remind me about August or September, if I haven't posted about it 15 or 20 times already. :)

    I really like these things. They have their own raised bed, do their thing, don't ask for much, and are a big swath of green right now. The deer munched on them over the winter, and they just shrugged as if they didn't care, and are growing just fine.
