Yes, I was going to ask you that....if the babies stayed with the adult flock or not. I have to supervise my flock on free ranging too because of all the predators. I will have to get them all out one of these days. Great that your babies are doing so well!

How cool your babies new to get up next to one of the adults!! My babies will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. Still too tiny to be with the big girls. My adults would trample these babies to death yet. LOL I am shooting for 12 weeks of age, but I may have to wait til 16 weeks depending on how big they are. So your babies free range with the big girls with no issues? Maybe I should try getting everybody out together and see how they are.

Oh, that must have scared you big time seeing the enclosure all broken down! But wow, they learn fast about roosting don't they! My girls are roosting at night already and are usually roosting by the time I get up there to close up for the night. Are yours still separated from the flock or have you mixed them already? I wish these babies would grow more fast so I could mix mine together. -
