  • Thanks.. :) Didn't know little bantams needed that much space! I will be letting them free range too. I'm going to actually put three nest boxes, because I got mostly broody breeds, and I'd like them to hatch tons of babies for me that I'll move to my big coop to be laying hens. I'm going to have a bit bigger run, because I know bantams are flighty birds. I'm getting 4 silkies, one porcelain d'Uccle, bantam EE, and golden sebright. Hoping I get all girls and one boy, except they are all coming unsexed, so can't be sure what to expect. :/
Thank you. :) Those are blue Cochins, but I refer to them as lavender Cochins. Very nice coop! I'm getting 7 bantams, do you know how big of a coop I should do for them? I'm very unexperienced with bantams alothough it won't be my first time with them, so I'm just trying to get a good idea of how big I should build it.
    Thanks for your time. :)
Hello! I love your avatar, very cute! I noticed your user is called thebantycoop, I'm planning on building a separate coop for my bantams that will be here in early March. Do you have all bantams? What's your coop like? I'm trying to figure out which type of coop/ run I should build for them. :)
