My silkie is now broody and sitting on 10 eggs. 1 silkie egg, 2 easter egger eggs, barred rock egg, rhode island red egg, black sex link egg, and a couple of light brahma eggs from my own flock 
Yes, you do need some silkies! Their great broodies, mothers, and their super nice and calm!

We did, we went to a nice lake it was so fun! Aww yay I'm so happy he got a good home, he's going to be one pretty rooster. No it's not I had one before just like chip the EE and he's nice to me now but nothing like he was before hoping up on me and stuff. Wow! It just seems like a little bit ago that we were sharing chick pictures and here they are adults now, mine should be laying in a month or so.
