    No, if you read the thread, you'll see that she died about a week or so before they hatched...the male took over and hatched them, and raised them until something happened to all the chick's, none survived to adult stage.

    Ooohhh, sorry to hear that! Doesn't it make sense that "once broody," the odds are much better that she'd go broody again? I kind of need to get out of the chicken and quail business for a couple of years but i really hate to get rid of such a special bird, and her mates, and her offspring which also might have a higher tendency for those females to go broody.
