Pros: Easy to hatch and raise, more 'laid back' than Goldens.
Cons: None
Lady Amherst are one of the most widely kept pheasants, next to Golden pheasants.
They have similar traits and behaviors as Goldens, calls are similar, roosting and courtship displays are similar.
As with all pheasants, Amherst require a fairly large enclosure to ensure happy, healthy birds. Also do well in planted and well furnished enclosures.
They can withstand great changes in temperature and if given protection from wind, rain, drafts, can do very well, even in extreme cold conditions.
I rated this article 3 stars due to lack of information about the Lady Amherst in the original post.

Pros: Metal construction, doesn't promote algae growth.
Cons: Cost and handle needs to be modified to keep it from slipping to one side or the other of the handle.
Have used them for years. Durable galvanized construction, doesn't have the algae growth that the white plastic waterers are prone to producing. They are a bit pricey though.

Cons: Have to refill often
I use them for my quail and pheasant chicks. Works pretty well but need refilling often. Durable, and cost effective.

Pros: Easy to use
Cons: The size they recommend for pheasants isn't the size you need, the next size larger will work.
Kuhl plastic leg bands are easy to use and last for the life of most birds without fading.
Only problem I have had is with their size chart not being accurate for pheasants, #6 size barely fits a ornamental pheasant. If you need one for a ring necked pheasant go up in size, # 7 to # 8.

Pros: Easy to use. Easy to fill.
Cons: If not cleaned weekly, mosquitos will breed in the bell very fast. A little finicky at regulating the top.
Have used this model for several years. Is a little heavy to haul when full. Very durable.
Only draw back is it needs cleaning often to keep algae and mosquitos from breeding.

Cons: Some other extra hardware is needed, sometimes.
Have used several. Easy to install. Had to either make or buy "stand-offs" for some installations.

Pros: Beautiful birds, easily kept in captivity.
Cons: More demanding during brooding. Tend to toe picking.
Have raised Mountains for many years. Great birds to raise and breed. Not for the first time quail raiser but with some experience can be very rewarding.

Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Can kink easily, not as durable as steel wire.
Have used many miles of this wire for fencing in cattle. Doesn't corrode or rust like steel wire.

Pros: The price
Cons: Could not get it calibrated
I too bought mine on eBay. After receiving it I did the salt test calibration. Was unable to get the one I purchased, to calibrate. The adjustment screw would not turn, and was 17% off out of the package.
Would have been a great item if able to calibrate, was well made, easy to read scale but not calibrateable, is the reason I give a 1 star rating.

Pros: Easy to raise and breed. Spectacular and various colors in a small package. Tame easily to hand feeding.
Cons: Require larger enclosures than other poultry.
Golden pheasants are the gateway to ornimental pheasants. There colors an temperment make for some most enjoyable "other poultry".
They are easy to breed and raise. The most important aspect of rearing pheasants is BIOSECURITY. They should not be kept with other poultry, especially chickens. They can contract diseases from chickens that will kill them and show no sign until too late to attempt treatment.
Anyone contemplating getting pheasants, should consider Goldens as a beginners choice for entering the world of pheasantry.

Pros: Fairly cheap
Cons: Algae and bacteria factory
Cheap waterer that will work. Drawbacks are that it is an Algae and bacteria factory. It also attracts mosquitos, which lay their eggs and produces a mosquito factory, too!
Needs to be cleaned very regularly and it's time consuming.
Other than that, it's a waterer that will get the job done.
