Pros: Easy, Smaller, Hardy and Good Parents
Cons: Hard to STOP-Parenting!
Been a great experience with pigeons yet far though I did find that taking away the eggs if you dont want babies isn't a good option for these guys, Lol! We tried to take their eggs away so they wouldn't be raising babies and be in good condition for the county fair but they instead his a nest and hatched two more babies!

Pros: Very good parents, much friendlier than my other breeds, very proud stance and calm.
Cons: Bigger than regular birmingham rollers, a bit big in the hand when trying to hold or carry them, they also eat a bit more food.
I have these alongside my performance birmingham rollers and while they're very fun they are a big bigger than my other birms and I might just have small hands but this makes it harder to transport them even just from the aviary to the carriers. Very friendly disposition!

Booted

Pros: Sweetheart, Gorgeous and Small Sized
Cons: Large feet feathers can cause issues
Booted Bantams live up to their name, their "boots" are HUGE! We had to cut our littles ones back so she could walk somewhat normally and forage with the rest in the day. We loved her to bits and she was the most enjoyable bird I've owned and I would never regret getting more. If you don't exactly want this one, try a D'Uccle, which is pretty much a sister breed to the Booted Bantams with all of the same perks but less foot feathers! :)

Pros: Best bird I've Ever Owned
Cons: She was One-Of-A-Kind
Our Sofia was a one of a kind buttercup, I could go on and tell you about how wonderful she was and how devastated we are that we lost her, but I would hate to get a little speck of hope in your mind that you could get one like Sofia... 2 other people that liked Sofia went and got a buttercup of their own and they ended up getting rid of them they were so bad. They're usually flighty, skittish, unfriendly, don't do goo in confinement, very solitary and bossy to the point of aggression. If you want one of these, You'd need some serious land, a few acres that they free range.

Pros: Small, Colourful, Interactive and are very interesting
Cons: Needs experienced owners, not always friendly, very delicate, and hard to raise/keep
Button Quail, white both adorable and small are not a pet I'd recommend to anyone I know. I currently have 3 and am hatching more because these little birds are addicting, they make lovely sounds but can be extremely loud when alone or without a mate, and they need a lot of space to be truly happy. These little birds are very interactive and even when they're not hand raised they can become conditioned to human interaction. If you have other birds you may think you are ready to tackle a button, but trust me, these are very difficult birds to hatch, buy, own and raise. Their eggs are very small and sometimes they can accidentally crush them, and your fingers might go right through them while you are collecting. Not many people own these in large quantities so its hard to even find them if you are interested. It's also difficult to make a home for them not only because they need a large space to live but the roof has to be "boink proof" and if you don't know what boinking is, its when the buttons are scared or nervous they will launch themselves up to escape the threat, except when there's a roof they will knock them selves on it, and it can scalp these birds if its not cushioned properly. It's very hard to raise these birds too because they are so small and so fast and aren't usually very docile, much more flighty.

These cuties are not for everyone, they are a HUGE investment for not much reward if youre careful, I would choose Cotournix or bantam chickens over these guys, or even pigeons or doves. Not for the inexperienced pet owners.
