Pros: Beautiful, pretty good egg layers, nice to newcomers
Cons: a bit flighty, the foot feathers
Pearl, the alpha of the flock, is very pretty. She also is a dependable layer, laying pretty large eggs for a bantam. She also doesn't really care about the newcomers into our flock, as long as they don't try to usurp her.

Now for the cons; she's flighty. I don't think, though, it's in her personality. I didn't spend as much time with her as I did with the Modern Game girls. Also, the foot feathers can be a problem too.

I love this breed, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Pros: Beautiful, good layers, broody, and very sweet
Cons: Feather footed (for us), bleaches easily.
Our Buff Brahma, Goldie, is such a sweet girl. She is beta, and helper to the alpha, Pearl. She is the mother chicken of our flock, always keeping peace between the more flighty birds of my flock. She is also such a card to watch! When she runs, I can't help but laugh at her fluffy self :p. She doesn't fly much, which is good because we have a lot of ways to get out of our yard. :) I would recommend this breed to a beginner, although bleaching and the feathers on her feet make it hard to let her out when it's especially sunny.

Pros: Sweet, Beautiful, Entertaining, Talkative
Cons: Small eggs, a bit flighty if not handled
I have 3 hens, 1 birchen and 2 brown reds. They are definitely the most entertaining out of the 6 chickens I have. They're also definitely the most adventerous out of the flock. I have some pretty nice birds, from SQ stock and they are absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend this breed to anyone.

Pros: Smart, Loving, Social, and Beautiful
Cons: VERY good fliers, small eggs, slow growers.
I absolutely love this breed. My little Nankin, Ruby, loves to perch on my arm and paces her cage when I leave her alone.

She flies very well too.

I would recommend this breed to ANYONE! (Although they are critically endangered, you would probably have to order some from big time breeders)
