This was such a great thermoregulator. My husband use it for the greenhouse. When we received our baby day one chicks thermoregulation by height was a pain to keep up with. So he hooked this up with an extension cord see photo. It worked so well and took the worry out of thermoregulation for our brooder. It goes to 95 degrees F so can follow the traditional brooding temperature schedule. Just wean and set each week. It stays right on the money of set temp. I still kept my heat lamp at 18 inches of height the entire time and just controlled the temperature. No worries. It does require batteries, corded electric, and 120 volts. So much more accurate.
