    I've got 4 50x50 foot fields that I want to put a coop in the middle of and alternate which field they run in. so it's 2500 sq ft at any given time of run space with rotation as needed. How many chickens could an operation like this sustain comfortably? How big should I then build my coop?

    Im looking to fill my in incubator with duck eggs. Im leaning toward runners and cayugas but could be swayed by other breeds. Can anyone help me? I have an automatic turner in my 1588 that holds 42 chicken eggs. can I get the same # of duck eggs in there?

    So if chickens don't need extra calcium they instinctively know not to eat the oyster shell? How much calcium does this flock raiser have in it? How is it different from starter ration?

    Ok, She is running around her tub full speed BACKWARDS with her head down between her legs. Then she lands on her back and can't get up. Still wry neck? Ive got VI - TAL supplement in her water at 1/4 teaspoon to a gallon.

    Thanks guys! Sounds like it isn't contagious anyway which is always my biggest fear. I put a high dose vitamin/electrolyte supplement in it's water. It's eating and drinking now. Definitely not listless. It's such strange behavior though, Like it has OCD about preening it's belly.
