I have just come back to a number of my very unreliable hens gone broody and the coop environment isn't safe for chick's at the moment. Most eggs are already over half way formed to ready to hatch any day (1 hatched this morning, it's currently in my incubator to keep it safe and warm)...

I bought 3 Wyandotte chicks from a petshop a while ago, 2 turned out to be Auracanas but 1 has had us confused.
She has just started laying and she is really curious and sweet.
I assisted hatched at chick yesterday, mum had trod on it and the membrane was drying out, I removed all the broken shell and found the chick had internally piped, I moistened the membrane with olive oil and coconut oil. After leaving it in the incubator for a couple hours still no progress made...
She looks to be a girl, she also has no comb and is quite dainty looking.
