Oh wow, l am really thankful for this comment. Thanks man, you really wrote the the details of everything l asked for. 🙂 I know we can't force our hens to go broody, obviously l don't want that for my hens. Plus l am going to get a rooster for my hens and will see what happens.
Okay l see. Well a rooster which doesn't create so much fuss and hatches a beautiful breed chicks with my hens would be highly appreciated. I want the chicks to survive too so if there is any rooster breed that is genetically strong and not aggressive for my hens either would be highly...
Thanks for commenting, l will keep these breeds in mind. I wanted to get a rooster of the same breed as the hens but thought if with any breed the chicks might be more beautiful and rare. Thanks anyways 🙂
Okay, l see. I read on Google that some roosters die after mating but l figure you are an expert so you know better, Glad to hear. Also if you could guide me about the breed of the rooster, it would highly appreciated. Thanks for the comment 🙂
Yeah sure man. I am excited to know about the breed of the rooster as well as the chicks. I will keep in mind not to buy a bantam rooster but can't figure out why? Thanks anyways 🙂
Thanks for your comment. I was thinking of buying a Cochin or a Brahma rooster as well and would love to have chicks of any breed. My mother is excited for the chicks to be same as their mother tho. Also l know that the rooster to hen ratio is 1:5 but l can't handle that many birds and don't...
Thanks for the comment, it has come to my knowledge that a rooster is required in order to hatch chicks. I will get one and see if the hen co operates or not. If it takes around 2 years for a hen to sit, its fine by me. 🙂

Yeah l know that, l read on the internet that hens lay eggs without a rooster as well. But now that l think about it, you are right. I will edit the post lol, besides that l still want to know about my hens becoming broody and how to provide them with the right environment to hatch eggs. Thanks...
Hi Guys, these are my first Hens so l am not really an expert in this matter. I have two hens and my inquiry is that how do l make them broody or when will they start hatching eggs? Here are the details of my Hens:
White Hen (Murgi)

Thanks for writing the comment. I agree with you, the male does appear to be a game animal. I have attached few more pictures if you can look at them and confirm. Thanks again.
I think the females have pea combs but l am not sure considering their age. The male has a single comb l think. I have attached few more pictures and specially of the male so the origin breeds can be acknowledged. Thanks for writing the comment.
Thanks for writing the comment. I have considered the possibility of cross breeds. Also its very difficult to take still and good pictures of chicks specially at this age but thanks again.
Thanks for the effort guys. I have been doing a lot of research lately about game birds, mutts and cross breeds. I have come to this conclusion:
White - Cross of Brahma/Cochin or just a Cochin or Brahma. The breed revolves around Brahma and Cochin for both females.
Brown - Cochin or Cross of...
Thanks for writing the comment. I had thought of the possibility that the male could be a cross breed but lets see if anyone knows if its a specific breed or not or can tell the origin breeds.
Okay thanks for your help man. I really appreciate it, and yeah the cockerel has got me pretty confused with its breed. Also l let them into the sun and play too but had kept them inside at the moment. Thanks again 😊
