The only ver we would find in the area said he couldn't do anything to the wound it self. But gave usome pain and antibiotics because the skin is infected. Any other helpful tips to aid in healing fast.
Yes blue kote from a while ago that didn't get off yet. Ok we are going to take her to the vet tomorrow if we can find one tonight..how much should I be expecting to pay.
Yeah I do have have a female duck for him..I was thinking about getting 1 or 2 more for him..it was just out of no where he started pulling feathers..and that's all he does. I've watched him do it.
Last week my male duck started pulling feathers just on my rode island rooster. So got more hen and now pulling feathers from them also. What should I do..will separating him for a week help anything? Any help with be very appreciative.
I have a Rhode Island Red rooster missing feathers on the back side of his neck.. not bleeding or anything. Only thing I can think of is maybe one of the ducks is pulling them out? I put stop pack on him. Shoule i be putting something else on him.
No I haven't tried blue kote. I'll have to look for that. Guy I work with gave me some bag balm. Will that work also or just go get blue kote . Thanks for all the help.
I've been spraying her with poultry wound spray from Tractor Supply. Yes separated but can still see the others. Have 1 other duck and 4 Rhode Island Reds(2 hens and 2 roosters). Have her on niacin (b12) because of walking problems watch seem to be getting better.
I have 2 ducks and 1 keeps bleeding from her tail feathers. It's been off and on for almost 3 weeks. Seems to get pretty good then she started again. Been spraying her with stuff from tractor supply. Help please.
