Rhode Island red missing feathers

I have a Rhode Island Red rooster missing feathers on the back side of his neck.. not bleeding or anything. Only thing I can think of is maybe one of the ducks is pulling them out? I put stop pack on him. Shoule i be putting something else on him.

I once had a hawk swoop down and shave a strip of feathers off one of my hens. It looked smooth as a baby's butt. If I hadn't seen it happen I wouldn't have any idea what had happened. I think that's what could have happened to your chicken. The strip looks pretty clean like it was shaved.

Blukote in that spot. Use gloves.

Ok just saw my duck pulling them..what should I do. I had stop peck on him.

I don't know how ducks are but if the rooster should have since enough to try and avoid it. Do they roost in the same coop? Sometimes different birds will kill one another so you have two choices. Either separate them or let them work it out between them.
