30 golden Italians went into the bator today afternoon!! And the countdown begins again! Exciting, addiction! Also the others are doing great, even the curled toe one... They are growing exponentially. They're gonna have a lot of white, I didn't expect from Rosettas -

Yea it looks like it... I ordered mine too (Rosetta coturnix) and got 5 very light like yours and 4 very dark out of it... I'm dying to see the colors they come out... I'll keep updating te photos here -

Thank you @Jules-quails ! Yea that is what i did.. took them out yesterday at night and my humidity didnt change much! and they are the cutest things even though one has a curled toe, im debating whether to attempt fixing it or just letting it be. its one of the most active ones and the first... -

Four have hatched... Two very black and two very golden.... now im torn if i should take them out tonite or tomorrow morning... they're coturnix not button... and ive read everywhere 24 hours... almost all the other ones have pipped... so im afraid i'll mess them up -

So the second one was finally born!!! and as soon as it came out the other one started pecking him!! I thought he was gonna take its eye out... is that normal??? its since left him alone but that first minute drastically changed from a happy moment to one of the scariest of my life LOL -

thank u! will do... but a quick question... I've read somewhere that someone hatched quail and "starved" them... Am i supposed to put food in the incubator? I only read once that they are not like chicks and dont have enough nutrients to last the 3 days in there... My research got me very... -

Tentative good news... We have the first little guy!!! Hatched so fast I missed it. Didn't even see it pip... He's now bouncing around like a maniac lol. The cutest thing to see!!! -
