We had a lot of raccoons and possums in our forest, and we just got one of those cage/trap thingies, where if the critter steps on a metal piece in the back the door shuts them in. We used a hot dog as bait and caught a whole lot of both coons and possums!
Layer mash is recommended for birds 16 weeks and older...it would be best to keep them on grower for now. My Pekins and Khaki Campbells are about 5 weeks as well, and are almost fully feathered. They have moved outside, but I'm in Illinois. 70's in day, 50's -60's in night.

So they don't start mating until about 6 months, right? And all the duck's eggs will be fertilized? (I know this is obvious-this is my first time with ducks.)
Soo.... do you think it would be best to just get rid of him? I would have to get rid of the other pekin too, because she "loves" him and gets really upset if he is out of sight. :hit
