    Some of my girls have what appears to be mud and or poop caked over some of there nails. It is very hard. Should I be getting this off ? Was wondering if it cause some type of constriction issue on the toes ie. circulation. thanks !!

    Composting poop for your garden. Biggest mistakes.

    I am composting my chickens poop for my vegetable garden and want to hear of what not to do. Currently I have chopped leaves, straw and kitchen scraps that i mix with the droppings and turn evry 2 wks. I want to make sure I don't ruin my garden with anything too hot or any other screw-up. thanks

    There was a shell-less egg on the poop board this morning. Hens have been laying for only 2 months. Found a similar egg in nest box last week. No worries ? Thanks !!

    I'll tell you what I have. All raised from day olds. 2 Wyandottes that are pleasant enough but don't like to be picked up. 1 Easter egger that loves to be picked up, very sweet. 1 Ancona that also loves to be handled. 1 Polish that is real sweet also,but very noisy. Good luck.
