Unfortunately, my incubators are full and I will have between 18 and 24 eggs that are extra within the next week. I'll gladly include any extras that I end up with at no charge. I already have 8 from the last three days and haven't yet collected today. I'd rather not eat them if anyone is...

They sell very good quality organic feed produced in California at affordable prices. They have a few retailers in down South as well.
Hmm... Difficult to say. Try giving them some scratch, make sure they have access to some grasses to eat and put out a dish of oyster shells too. That seemed to work to help boost my egg production.
In my experience with my free range birds, they would much rather forage around for bugs and things than eat their feed. I don't worry about their feed intake. They will only eat as much as they need to eat.
I do! It will cut back on your feed costs substantially and provide them with a well balanced diet. I'd recommend trying a seed mix such as:

Be sure to still provide them with their regular feed though. You'll be...
I had a similar problem a while back with a couple of my chickens and switched them back from a layer feed to a grower and they bulked up fast. I separately supplemented with oyster shells for those that wanted to eat it, so they would be getting enough calcium.
Just make sure to keep the oyster shells separate, as the added calcium is not good for birds that aren't laying. Don't mix it into the feed. The ones that need it will eat it if it is separate.
You could probably break them of it only if you are closely monitoring when they are laid, so that you can remove them quickly. My hens tend to lay on a pretty regular schedule this time of year, and they are so noisy when they do that it is hard to miss. Make sure that it is one of the hens...
I try to keep treats to a minimum, since they may not get adequate nutrition if they fill up on too many treats. I stick to a balanced feed, and might give them a treat every other day or so. Giving them too many treats could become a problem when they start laying, as they might be filling up...
