Yayyy peachicks hatched in 23 days...lol
On 7th may my peahen started incubating the eggs and and all the eggs hatched today except one that hatched but died there.... There were 5 eggs and all of them hatched and one died... My question is that it usually takes 28 days how did these eggs hatched so early??? I m from pakistan And temp... -

Hey umar, i am from pak too...lol Just get a incubator and incubate them yourself... my peahen laid 3 eggs last season... this season she is sitting on 5... Let her make her nest wherever she wants, just stay away from her... she will most likely sit on the next clutch of eggs... Sent from my... -

Hello guys, it's been more than a couple of years that this peacock is still alive..he was almost dead and vets were unable to do anything about the injury... Human surgeon did the surgery and now it's doing great!!! -

She is a free range bird....she doesn't go outside my home even though she can.... She laid Some eggs in pen even though she is a free bird ...some of the eggs she laid were in the most hidden place, I mean no one goes there....even then she didn't sit on them.... What if I put her with all... -

My peahen turned 2 this year and laid 3 eggs in her first clutch and didn't sit on them....all the eggs were laid on different places..... In her second clutch this year same thing happened....she laid in different places and still laying.... I have a strong feeling that she might not sit on... -

Thank u all for replying. He's doing a good job till now. Injury was so deep and big that it looked almost impossible to stitch the wound... i might post some pictures too... is it ok to give medicine through syringe or should i go for some edible thing? And any particular food that i should... -

Its about 10 days ago that i saw a kennel of dogs attacking a bird. It was a male peacock bieng eaten by dogs. When i came closer , dogs ran away . What i saw was a severly injured peacock who had been eaten from the middle portion of the neck till legs(which were not eaten). Injury was so deep... -

thank u all for ur replies! he was 2 years 3 months old! I did c him carefully! Didnt find any injury!! I think he might hav been shot by a small toy gun that doesnt hurt human but can kill small birds easily! Here in my area i hav seen children having those guns having very tiny plastic low...
