    Mike is doing good. I have 2 potential homes for him, so he will be leaving us soon :-( Nothing from the others, going to candle, float test, and probably egg topsy tonight. At least we got 1/3!

    awww :-( late quitters are the worst. I'm fearing the same out of Mike's other 2 friends. I'm pretty sure "he's" a sebestapol! SUCH pretty birds, and rather expensive lol. Not sure what we're going to do with Mike yet.

    Hey there ya go that's a winning situation no matter which way you slice it! How are your geese eggs? Today is day 15 for me, is there a point at which we quit turning/misting/cooling? Like a lock down for geese?

    How neat! I learn something new every day :-) We don't raise anything besides prolific layers. I'm working on a small flock of lemon cuckoo orpingtons and when my youngsters mature will have a great flock of barred rocks. Have a pair of buff orps, too and then quite a few other breeds of layers.

    I'm on day 4 of my geese eggs now. 2 seem perfect, 1 seems to have a loose air cell as well, but I'm holding out it'll be fine. I start the misting and cool down process for 15 mins per day this evening. I hope I'm doing this right lol
