Will my rooster ever man up?

Just a quick question. I have one silkie rooster (Juniper) who's very big and docile and is 7 months old. He doesn't fight and he's only a high rank among the pullets. He's ugly but not like my other roosters I've had who are aggressive so I want to keep him. He's the only rooster in the flock...

    One sick, underdeveloped chick.

Update! I am giving them all doxycycline, and they're all in good condition. There might be problems down the road, but for now they are healthy. I will post again if anything goes wrong. Thank you for the help! As I said in my previous post, the chick didn't make it, but that's ok.

We don't have antibiotics currently, but today I may get oxytetracycline and sav-a-chick from Tractor Supply, if not, then it'll be tomorrow. I hope the chick will still be ok by then :S

    One sick, underdeveloped chick.

Ok, thank you for the tips! She stopped peeping after my post, so I put hot water bottles by her and it helped tremendously with the cold. If she can eat and drink later I will try to give her antibiotics

    One sick, underdeveloped chick.

So recently I've noticed one of the chicks wasn't growing properly like the others. 1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.) Silkie, 2 weeks, a lot lighter than the others 2) What is the behavior, exactly. Sits in corner...

My cute chicken names are Pudding bags and Butterball. Butterball is not around anymore, so I named a chick that kind of looks like her when she was a chick "Buttercup".

    Silkie thread!

That's so true. Every single silkie I have ever gotten from Tractor Supply ended up hating me. 5 days ago my mom decided to get them again, but this time I'm trying to socialize with them more than I did. The sexlink chicks are very sociable, love to be picked up and enjoy sleeping in your lap...
