    Hen or Roo?

This little one got caught in a fence and tore its neck up pretty good, so we nursed it back and got it all healed up. However, since doing that... It has become very fond of us. Anyone know if hen or Roo? It would be about 6-7 weeks old. Also if you have a breed guess that would be amazing...

    Fertile eggs?

Ok, so their run is about 16.5 x 10... So that should come out to about 20 sq ft per bird. So, maybe I just need to give them more room. When I was first researching, I found 15-20 sq ft /bird in the run so that's what we went by.

    Fertile eggs?

Honestly, I will have to go measure. How much room do they need? Maybe I need to add on!

    Fertile eggs?

They are just over a year old. They get a 16% game bird layer crumble, veggie scraps, hen scratch periodically and every so often they will get some black fly larvae treats.

    Fertile eggs?

I have had the worst luck trying to hatch my guinea eggs. None seem to want to try and develop at all. They are all put in incubator within a few days from gathering. I have given some to several people and they all say the same thing. Do these even look fertile to any of you? I honestly can't...

    Fertile Egg?

Ok, so last year my husband bought some broad breasted turkeys. After getting them I was doing research which everything said they could not naturally breed. So, that's fine and all, but went to make one for breakfast this morning and to me... this turkey egg looks fertile?

    Hatching Guinea Eggs

Any suggestions on how to do that without losing the heat and humidity? I'm terrified to open it and messing something up with other ones.

    Hatching Guinea Eggs

So, this is my first time hatching guineas. They started hatching about 20 hours ago, so we are getting really close to the 24 hour mark, however I have some eggs just starting to pip. How long can I keep these kits in there so I don't mess up the new ones just trying to hatch. Also... I have...

    Breed Guesses

I will try and get a few better pictures today. They do have the iridescent coloring to them in the sunlight. This was a cloudy rainy day. The one looks to be maybe a Rouen mix? The closest one in the second picture?

    Breed Guesses

Last year my husband went and bought ducks. However, I'm having a hard time finding out what breed these are (He didn't remember that it was the day he brought it home) all I know is they were all together and bought at Orschelns. Never was really a big deal until now when I'm hatching eggs and...
